No. This world record attempt requires everyone to uniformly post it on Instagram in order to verify and count. Kindly create a new Instagram account if you don’t have one already.
My Instagram account is a private one. Should I create a new public account?
It’s up to you. A new public account can be created, or your existing account can be made public. When a picture is posted on a private account, Guinness will not have access to view it for verification.
Is it okay if I hold the A4 paper vertically instead of horizontally for the picture?
No. It is mandatory to hold it horizontally to ensure that it gets counted.
Should I have a white background for the picture?
Not necessarily. Any background is fine.
Should my face be visible?
Yes. Your face as well as your writing on the paper both should be clearly visible in the picture.
Should I include my signature on that paper?
No. The paper should just have that one line and hashtag, as shown in the picture.
Can I use a ballpoint pen or sketch pen to write?
As per the guidelines, a sketch pen or marker should be used, particularly in dark colours like black or blue or red. Ball pen would look too thin and would not be clearly visible in the picture.
Can I post the picture before 10 AM or after 10.30 AM?
No. For Guinness to officially count your picture for the World Record, it should only be posted between 10 AM and 10.30 AM on September 5, 2023.
Can I just post it on my Instagram story on September 5?
No, Instagram stories disappear in 24 hours, and Guinness will not be able to verify them. This is why it is required to post it as a post.
What form should I fill after posting the picture? Where can I find it? What is the form about?

Ensure that it is not filled before 10 AM. The form just asks for basic details like your name, age, and contact information, so that we can send you the Guinness certificate with the right information.
When will I get my participation certificate?
The participation certificate will be provided after Guinness completes the verification process in 7 days.
